Minimizing The Risk Of Losing Your Dog

The reality is that there are many hundreds of dogs that are lost every year that are never located again. This is a sad statistic that most dog owners hope never happens to their beloved pet. There are some things that you can do to help minimize the risk of losing your dog and maximize the chances that your dog will be returned to you in the event that it is lost.

The following tips will help prevent your dog from getting lost in the first place:

· Always take your dog on a leash wherever you go. Never take the dog out of the car without first attaching the leash before opening the door. Use a leash with a looped handle that you place over your wrist to avoid the lead from being pulled out of your fingers with a sudden movement of the dog.

· If you have your hands full, make two trips. Take the dog in one trip and the packages in another. With too many things to hold you are likely to let the leash slip, giving the dog the chance to run away.

· Crate train your dog if possible and always keep them in the crate when they are in new or unfamiliar settings.

· Avoid allowing small children or individuals that are unfamiliar with your dog from handling or walking your dog when you are not present.

· Safety check your fence, kennel or run frequently. Repair any holds, damaged areas or spots the dog has been digging as soon as they are noted.

· Keep gates locked and secured, especially when the dog is left outside in the yard.

To help recover a lost dog:

· Always have a current picture of your dog available. This is important if you are traveling or away from home. Digital pictures are great because they can be easily reproduced when needed at most photo stores or computer centers.

· Know the number for the local shelters, rescues and animal control locations where you are staying. Most of the vets and animal clinics will also post announcements of missing or lost pets.

· Keep a collar on your dog with an identifying tag that is up to date. At least have a current phone number on the tag. If you are going on a holiday to a distant location consider having a special tag made with your cell phone number or number where you will be staying.

· Microchip your dog. This is a simple, painless procedure where a tiny microchip is implanted under the dog’s skin. A simple scan at a shelter or a vet’s office will immediately provide contact information for the shelter to contact the owner. Keep all information up to date.

As soon as you notice that your dog is missing contact your local animal control, shelters, rescues and even the local vets in the area. Notify the breed association as well and be prepared to put up flyers, run a add in the newspaper or even post your dog’s picture on the internet.

Losing a dog is always stressful and traumatic but having a plan on how to locate the dog will eliminate some of the concern.

What Matters With Meta Tags Optimization?

There is a hidden element in your webpage that can help your marketing efforts considerably. Although many webmasters tend to ignore these little gems, the fact of the matter is that they can help you to outdo your competition in many cases. I’m talking about meta tags and the proper use of them. Of course, along with the proper use of these tags comes a cautionary statements as well. Meta tags optimization needs to be approached properly or else you run the risk of being dropped from the search engines or being buried so deep that nobody is ever going to find you at all.

The most important element as far as meta tags optimization is concerned is the title of the webpage itself. This is something that you should take a considerable amount of time optimizing and writing. First of all, you should always be including your target keyword or keyword phrase within the title tag itself. After all, this is what people are going to see whenever they are searching on Google and other search engines. If you use the target keyword phrase and people search for that phrase, it will become bold whenever they are viewing it in the search engines. This can increase your click through rate considerably.

Another important part of meta tags optimization is making sure that you put a compelling line in the title tag as well. Although it may be enough for you to simply to include the keyword phrase that you are targeting, adding a few additional words which will entice the people to click on the link to your website can be quite beneficial. For example, if your keyword phrase was “dog training” you would want to use something enticing in the title tag that included the keyword phrase, such as “Dog Training Tips and Tricks”.

Another important part of meta tags optimization is the description tag. Although many people consider this to be a dead tag, the search engines still use it, at the very least for text in the search engine results. Even Google from time to time will still use the description tag although for some reason or another they will, at times, simply pull random text off of the webpage. Make sure that you include your target keyword phrase in the description tag as well as a call to action. It may give you a little boost in the search engines but if you use the tag correctly, you will see a jump in your visitors from the search engines.

The only other meta tag that really should be looked at is the keyword tag. This is not as important of an element in meta tags optimization as it used to be but it is still worth including. Use your target keywords as well as a view related keyword phrases that are included on the webpage. Be careful not to overdo it or it may be considered spamming by the search engines and you could receive a penalty.

Another great way to drive traffic to your website is to take advantage of manual traffic exchanges

Search Engine Optimization and Website Design

Want to know a great way to waste money when creating a new website or updating an old one? Ignore search engine optimization (SEO). At best, you’ll ensure that no one can find your website. At worst, you may find yourself plunging in the search engine rankings.

Why should you care about SEO?

High search engine ranking – especially on Google -  is critical for B2B marketers these days because your best prospects are actively looking for you and that’s how most of them will find you.

For those of you who like statistics there are multiple studies supporting the importance of organic search. All point to the same findings: over 80% of business-to-business purchases involve online research and most involve a search engine. Far more searchers click on organic listings than click on paid listings. (A study conducted by metaseach engine Dogpile found that 84.2% of clicks were on organic listings).

If you’re building a brand new website, you want to take search engine optimization issues into consideration from the get-go. Otherwise you run the risk of having to do everything all over again once you come to your senses and realize how important search really is.

If you’re making over an existing site, proceed with caution – especially if your current site has some decent rankings. Horror stories abound about website owners who “update” their sites only to see their rankings crash.

What factors should you be concerned with?

There are three key elements of successful search engine optimization: keyword selection, on-site factors and off-site factors (generally other sites linking to your site).

Start with the right keywords.

Good keyword selection means identifying the words and phrases your prospects use to find a product or service like yours. Note the emphasis on “words and phrases your prospects use”. This does not mean words you use to describe your products – a mistake many B2B marketers make.

It also means finding the right balance between search volume and competition. You want to optimize for keywords that are searched for with some frequency yet have little enough or unsophisticated enough competition that you stand a decent chance of achieving – and maintaining – a good ranking before the next millennium.

Even if you already have a site that is optimized for a good set of keywords, a website development project is still a good time to revisit your keyword list. Prospects, markets, and search terms constantly change over time, and you want to stay on top of what is currently being used.

On-site optimization.

The on-site optimization factors include both content and site structure. This intent of this article is not to tell you how to optimize your site, but merely to convince you of the importance of doing it as part of a website development project.

Briefly, once you have your keywords selected, you’ll want to use them carefully in your content. This includes text, page titles, meta tags, images, and now even flash animation.

In days gone by, overloading a page with keywords was an effective SEO strategy. This can work against you now. It is far better to create content that makes sense to your human visitors than to create content simply for the search engines.

Other aspects of on-site optimization to take into consideration are your site structure and the ease of which both humans and search engines can find sense in the organization, the use of text links on your pages, file and URL names, and a seemingly endless list of other fine points.

If this article has given you the impression that you need expert SEO assistance when you develop or re-develop your website, you’re right!  It would be a mistake to ignore such a critical element of online marketing success; and by paying attention to the factors  mentioned in this article, you’ll be well ahead of most of your competitors.

Way too many websites are created or modified without a thought given to search engine optimization. It’s an unfortunately easy way to waste money on websites that don’t perform well. Another way to look at it, of course, is that all those websites being developed without SEO consideration just make it easier for you to succeed.

The Blood building nutritional supplements are provided by a glyconutritional , the body absorbs the glyconutritional and extracts the 8 essential glyconutrients (monosaccarides or sugars) , the body bonds these Blood building supplement glyconutreints to proteins forming glycoproteins which take on many forms depending on the number and structure of the glyconutrients bonded to the protein and are therefore called glycoforms. The glycoforms protrude out of the cell wall forming a fuzzy cover over the cell. Each glycoform has a different function , non present glycoforms compromise immune function and storage of belly fat.

Glyconutrients are the most important Blood building nutritional supplemenst – deficiency plays a key role in 87 known autoimmune health challenges , rheumatoid arthritis, crib deaths, asthma, dermatitis, cancer, bronchial anaphylaxis, fibrmyalgia, lupus. Storage of belly fat increases the challenge.

Radiation and chemotherapy more effective against cancer cells.

Normal cells were protected.

Sarcomas responded to the Blood building nutritional supplement glyconutrients.

Less nausea , less hair loss , less mouth ulcerations.

Quality of life while having treatment and taking Blood building nutritional supplement glyconutrients was improved significantly.

Doorway and Feeder Pages That Explode Your Traffic (Part 2)

Doorway pages are “Meet and Greet” professionals! Their job is to invite and welcome visitors and to direct them towards a site which is relevant to their needs and offers more information. In other words, to funnel traffic towards sites which are designed to convert traffic into revenue.

Proper design of these doorway pages is vital to their success. They are your frontline troops. However, instead of arming them with guns, they are designed to express enormous charm and visitor appeal! They are acceptable and appealing to human visitors as well as the search engines.

Some Useful Tips For Your Doorway Pages:

1. A doorway page should load quickly, to encourage the visitor to enter and explore the site instead of getting peeved and impatient, building resistance. So keep your graphics to a minimum. Banners and logo should be small and linked to the next level up – the sales page. Also include your keywords within the image “ALT” tag. Beneath your logo, prepare an intriguing sentence that you link to the next level.

2. Host your feeder sites cheaply. This can be done by signing up with a host that allows muliple, even “unlimited” domains on the one account, such as reseller accounts. Having multiple blogs serves a similar purpose. It’s possible to buy domain names very cheaply – around $5 each. Blog names are free.

3. If you use any questionable marketing (”black hat”) tactics, such as automatic page generating software, do not use them with your star and planet sites. Don’t risk having them banned. Likewise with your advertising accounts. If you display ads, such as Adsense, be sure that those sites are squeeky clean, so that you don’t risk your account.

4. Select three keyword phrases that closely describe the site (doorway page) you are designing. For instance, if the page is to be about dog training, you might have keyword phrases such as: dog training, obedience training, house training. Place these in your keyword meta tags, between the heading tags, of your web page source code. Separate each phrase with a comma.

5. Prepare a descriptive sentence about this site using the keyword phrases you’ve selected, such as: “Dog Training Course: Expert Tips For Successful House And Obedience Training.” Use this sentence for your DESCRIPTION meta tag. Note the initial caps.

6. For the TITLE meta tag, simply use your primary keyword phrase. For example: Dog Training.
Also suitable would be a line that includes the secondary keywords, separated with a pipe: Dog Training | Obedience Training | House Training

7. Place your keywords in the comments tag. This can be done throughout the web page as you organize your content.

Example:
!–Begin Dog Training Introduction–
!–End Dog Training Introduction

These are not visible on your web page but can be read in the HTML.

8. Provide valuable content that contains your keywords every couple of sentences. It does not need to be lengthy. It could be in the form of a comment, report or article of about 250 – 350 words. Your aim is to provide keyword rich, search engine friendly, useful material.

9. Save your doorway page using one of the keywords.

Example:
dog_training.html

If there are multiple pages, a number can be added to distinguish each one:

Example:
dog_training1.html
dog_training2.html

The power of doorway pages to attract website traffic comes from the valuable, keyword-rich content that you’ve designed to have BOTH search engine and visitor appeal. Of course, you don’t have to stop with just one page! Imagine the flow of website traffic if you have a hundred, or more, of these focused doorway pages, all feeding traffic to your site…

This article began in Part 1 with important details about a marketing strategy which utilizes doorway pages to generate a huge flow of traffic to selected websites in the system. Both parts are available online.

Ivan Kelly managed a Direct Mail business with extensive mailing lists for ten years and has designed and promoted many websites. Part 1 if this article is available online at: Doorway Pages – Part 2
